Keynote Records is an independent, private label founded
by, and exclusively for, the recordings of pianist John Kane. This website is intended to make available his significant

New releases
are performed on a Steinway D piano, with Shure SM81 condenser microphones and digitally recorded, edited, mixed and
mastered using ProTools software on an iMac. Earlier Masterpieces for Dance recordings were re-mastered
on this platform. Homemade Series CD's recorded before 2000 were originally mastered at Capitol Records,
Los Angeles.
