HOMEMADE SERIES: Over 700 tracks on 58 full-length CD albums with more than 250 compositions by Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Debussy, Haydn, Liszt, Mozart, Moszkowski, Mussorgksy, Rachmaninoff, Ravel, Schubert & Schumann recorded 1994 - 2022 by pianist John Kane.   Homemade 2010 Recital, features 3 late works in B-flat major by Bach (Partita No. 1), Mozart (Sonata, K. 570) and Schubert (the monumental Sonata, D. 960) & Homemade Chopin Favorites (19 of his "greatest hits") were recorded in 2010.   Homemade Brahms (Piano Sonata No. 3 in F Minor, Op.5 and Handel Variations, Op. 24) was recorded in September, 2012.   24 Chopin Etudes were recorded in early 2013.   Brahms Two-Piano Works (Haydn Variations, Op. 56b and Sonata after the Quintet, Op. 34b with, unprecedently, BOTH PARTS played by Mr. Kane, were recorded in late 2013.  Last Piano Sonatas (containing those final works of Mozart, Hadyn & Beethoven), was recorded in February, 2014.   Homemade Schumann, containing Kinderszenen (Scenes from Childhood), Op. 15, Kreisleriana, Op. 16 and Symphonic Etudes, Op. 13, was recorded in May, 2014.  Homemade 2014 Recital, recorded in October, 2014, features Bach's French Suite No. 4 in E-Flat Major, BWV 815, Beethoven's Sonata No. 26 in E-Flat Major, Op. 81a ("Les Adieux") and Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition.   Homemade Mozart Piano Sonatas (Complete) is a 5-CD set and includes all 18 of Mozart's piano sonatas, plus the Fantasy, K. 475, recorded in early 2015.  Homemade Brahms, vol. 3 contains a 2-piano version (2nd piano part is the orchestral reduction) of the Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-Flat Major, Op. 83 and the transcription of Bach's Chaconne (from 2nd Violin Partita) for left hand alone.  Homemade Beethoven Piano Sonatas (Complete) is on 9 CDs, featuring all 32 piano sonatas of Ludwig van Beethoven.  This major milestone was completed during 2016.   Homemade Ravel containing Prelude, Pavane pour une infante defunte, Le Tombeau de Couperin and Gaspard de la nuit was finished in 2017.  Homemade 2018 Recital includes 2 Bach Preludes & Fugues (in C Minor, WTC Books I & II), 4 Scarlatti Sonatas & Sonatas by Haydn (XVI/20) and Schubert (D. 958).  Homemade 2019 Recital contains Bach's Prelude & Fugue in C Major, WTC II (BWV870), Schumann's Fantasy, Op. 17, Haydn's Sonata in C Major XVI/50 & Schubert's Wanderer Fantasy, D. 760.  Homemade 2020 Recital includes Bach's Prelude & Fugue in B-Flat Minor, WTCI (BWV867), Chopin's Sonata No. 2 in B-flat Minor, Op. 35 & Rachmaninoff's Piano Sonata No. 2 in B-flat Minor, Op. 36 (Original 1913 Edition).  Homemade 2021 Recital includes Bach's Preludes & Fugues in A-Flat Major (Books I & II), Haydn's Sonata in A-Flat Major, Hob. XVI/43, Schubert's Impromptu in A-Flat Major, Op. 142, No.2, Schumann's Carnaval, Op. 9, Debussy's Bruyères & Moszkowski's Etude in A-Flat Major.  Homemade Haydn Sonatas contains 7 works -- piano sonatas 34, 40, 42, 47, 48, 51 & 37.  Homemade Debussy has the composer's Deux Arabesques, Suite Bergamasque, Poissons d'or, Valse Romantique, selected Préludes including Les sons et les parfums tournent dans l'air du soir, Des pas sur la neige, La fille aux cheveux de lin, La Cathédral engloutie & Feux d'Artifice; concluding with Ballade, Rêverie & L'Isle Joyeuse.  Homemade Beethoven Variations includes 2 works: 32 Variations in C Minor, WoO 80, and the monumental Diabelli Variations, Op. 120.  Homemade 2022 Recital includes 4 works each of Mozart (D Minor Fantasie K. 397, Rondos in A Minor K. 511 & D Major, K. 485 & Adagio in B Minor, K. 540) and Beethoven (Für Elise, WoO 59, Rondos in C Major & G Major, Op .51 & "Rage Over a Lost Penny") and Mendelssohn's Variations Sérieuses, Op. 54.  3 volumes of Homemade Schubert Sonatas (2 works each) and 2 volumes of Homemade Haydn Sonatas (9 additional pieces) were recorded in 2022.  Homemade Chopin Waltzes, containing the complete (19) waltzes and Fantaisie, Op. 49 was recorded & released in early 2023.  Homemade Chopin Préludes was released in July, 2023 and includes 24 Préludes, Op. 28, 2 additional Préludes and Chopin's Barcarolle, Op. 60.  Homemade Schubert Sonatas vols. 4-6, recorded in 2023, add 8 Piano Sonatas, including early ones to complete the set of 16 begun in 2000!  Homemade Haydn Sonatas vols. 4-10 include 33 Sonatas on 7 CDs recorded in 2023 and 4 CDs' worth of previously-released Haydn Sonatas which have been assembled to complete an 11-CD set.  Homemade Schubert Sonatas vol. 7 includes previously-released Piano Sonata in C Minor, D. 958 and a new recording of Piano Sonata in B-Flat Major, D. 960, to complete Schubert's published collection of piano sonatas finished by the composer.  The complete set of Schubert Sonatas is available in a 7-CD boxed set.   Homemade Chopin Nocturnes contains the complete (21) Nocturnes in a 2-CD set, recorded in October, 2023.

In addition to possessing one of the largest discographies ever recorded among classical pianists, John Kane is one of the few (if any other?) pianists to record the "complete" sonatas of Beethoven (32), Mozart (18), Schubert (16) and Haydn (54).  It should be noted that there are discrepancies in what constitutes "complete" with regard to the piano sonatas of Schubert and Haydn, given the lack of a definitive published set in their cases.
